Team
Kladero was founded by Paul Dragan and Sven Smolka. Together, they combine research-driven thinking with hands-on experience in AI, compliance, product strategy, and software development.
Paul drives Kladero's product vision, strategy, design, and partnerships. He holds a PhD in Software Engineering from the University of Duisburg-Essen. Before Kladero, he worked in advanced automotive research and development on machine-learning methods for perception systems.
Sven leads Kladero's technical direction, architecture, and implementation. He holds a master's degree in Software Engineering from the University of Duisburg-Essen. His work spans explainable AI, security, edge computing, scalable systems, and platform development.
Kladero was started to help organizations turn AI ideas into systems, products, and workflows that can be used in practice. Our motivation comes from combining software engineering, AI, and compliance experience with the discipline needed to build technology that lasts beyond the first demo.
